As I looked up at the clock on the shop wall I see there's over four hours of my shift left. After obtaining good grades at school and a diploma in business studies at college I had hoped to be working in the city.

However unable to secure a job I applied for a vacancy in the grocery shop at the corner of my street. After an interview Kevin the owner hired me. I'd shopped here since I was a child and his wife Pamela used to work at the shop and she was really friendly.
